Racing with a Passion -If I had the chance to document drivers and their teams 2-3 weeks prior to an event. The Project Import/ Bobby Lane Racing Shop and Crew would make one helluva a documentary. Hailing from Cali, and on the quest to make a mark at Super Lap BattleUSA COTA. This team worked 247 weeks prior on building, testing, rebuilding, retesting, and just making sure both these cars would make it to the event and run. Make it they did, and ran they did. But just likesome racing stories, even with the best hands or parts, sometimes it's just not in the cards for some of them. While their Pilots are truly Industry Known Race Car Drivers, bad-luck came around and took out their beautiful Unlimited Class Honda S2000 on the first day. Their Honda Accord on the other hand stayed together and managed to keep their Hired gun "Racing Ray Williams" from New Zealand driving through the weekend with a Best 02:27.135. Monster in Sheep's Clothing -Definitely the Biggest Surprise to me at Super Lap Battle USA COTA. And not to down talk on Miata's or the Owners. Lol. But I still remember seeing the roster list prior to the event, and Jenson Little's NC Miata was in the Unlimited Class. At the time, the only knowledge I had was the photo of the car, and without any stickers, or livery I was definitely interested in what this Little Beast had in it. Now keep in mind, I did the research and look around sparingly prior to SLB for more info. Well Jenson of TX Track NC, and the owner are more likely known in a few forums, but trying to find him on Instagram, or Facebook would be no luck. Fast Forward to Race Weekend, and on the first session, I saw this Miata fly down the Main Straight like a Bat out of Hell! I then knew from that Speed Perspective it was a Car to check out and watch. After getting a closer look, and finding a few more details about this beloved machine. Turbo Check, HGT Trans Check.. Hmmmm.. I'm really enthused about this Car. The New 2020 Toyota Supra

Finally after the official reveal of the 2020 Toyota Supra. I can say it actually looks really awesome. Without judging it's stock form through a Computer Monitor I can already develop the looks of it in Race Car Form. Besides the one that they already created for the Super GT Racing Series. I can already picture more aggressive wheel and tire combos. Updated aero additions, and much more. It to me is a great platform based on what I have gathered from legit sources. It is not a Big Power car from the Factory, but the potential is there with it's Straight 6 Turbo powerplant. With the modern suspension tech from the factory being the only questionable thing, and the fact that the powerplant was a BMW Joint build. I can assure you that this car will still be a Big hit. Not for a percentage of the Previous Supra Owners, but more so for the New Aged Buyers. This Car is priced right for a Sports Car that is not exceeding a price that I thought would land it in the $70k-$100k range. It's in the ranks of the base model Corvette. It's priced below a Entry Level Porsche 911, and it's got potential written all over it. Will people buy it? For sure they will, and the looks for those that still don't like it, that will go under the rug in the next few months once people start buying them. Road Atlanta, the one event we all look forward to. The one Round in the Global Time Attack Season that everyone shoots for, or commits to going. Far from the West Side of the US in which most of the other GTA Rounds are held, like Willow Springs Raceway, and Buttonwillow which is the famed GTA/SLB Round at the end of the year. The expectations were high for me, as days ago a post on the GTA Facebook Group page was stated Roy Narvaez saying he will make it rain with a $10k stack of hundreds if he podiums, but only if he doesn’t get sprayed on with Champagne. Pretty easy to do right, and with people knowing Roy as the person he is, and a very giving guy, I figured yeah he would probably do it. Right away thoughts in my mind of how badly I wanted to get the Motolyric Race Car going these past months, I knew this could be my ticket on some free money. From the night before, till my drive up to Willow Springs Raceway I could smell the cash and wondering where, and how am I gonna pull this off.
