After a few months, we returned to our favorite Race Track Buttonwillow Raceway with Global Time Attack for Round 3 of the Pro-Am Series.
Teaming up again with Speed District, we were able to check out the latest Time Attack Cars in all categories, and some new blood of those that have either came back after a long hiatus sporting the new to me stuff, or fresh into Time Attack type cars.
As always it’s great to see familiar faces, but with the growth and progress of Time Attack, new entries are always quite interesting. For example Jorge Torres from the Project Import Crew, showed up to his first GTA in a Nissan 350Z, and also Cuban Rodriguez not new with GTA, but with his new barely 500 mile Honda Civic Type R. Of course the familiar faces like the Snail Performance crew came together and partied. Travis Barnes returned in yet another vehicle from his stable. The New Rare (to me) Subaru WRX STI-Type RA which by the way took 1st in Enthusiast AWD with a 2:05.439! With to much to mention, there was lot’s of great cars that showed up even if it was a 100 plus degree day.
