What a perfect way to end a season. Although there are several other track events and days still left before the actual year ends. Global Time Attack’s Super Lap Battle is the finale for me. Through all the years from a spectator, to a visitor, then a photographer, and pretty soon a competitor. The Super Lap Battle 2-day event is the icing on the cake for a lot of drivers and teams. I mean, that’s what it’s all about right. Having fun and doing what you love. In this case, it’s the Time Attack genre that we have learned to love and live with through the last 5 years we’ve been covering Global Time Attack. A place to race, a way to make friends, and most of all try to break some records for the sake of the sport. For the final round of GTA Pro-Am, the place was Big Willow at Willow Springs International Raceway. Buttonwillow Pride – Well, actually it’s more like Global Time Attack takes over. Finally, after a season break, we get our first taste for the year, of true time attack in the states. GTA makes it even better for 2016. Alongside with Speed District again, the event was packed with Mild Cars to Full-Out purpose machines.
