The year and season is coming to an end sooner than we think. Unfortunately for some of us, the winter season brings a small break, but not enough to hold us down or stop us from doing what we love. Global Time Attack continues to grow moving forward, with more events locally and nationwide. Another track day in So-Cal with Global Time Attack and Speed District. Willow Springs continues to be an ongoing hot spot for grassroots Time Attack. It seems at every event we attend, we notice new cars, new people and new relationships built. With a few more track days left before the Big Super Lap Battle in November, the questions on everyone’s minds are who will be there, who will run, and who will conquer and set new records. Round 1 in the streets of Long Beach yet again. For me this is my 7th year covering the Formula Drift Series and what a kick-off for 2015 it was. The crowds were massive at yet another sold-out event, and I don’t know if it was the stories that built up to the first event, or could it have been the fact that there was notable changes in Drivers, Teams, and the Cars? The field seemed short due to the fact that some of our favorites like Taka Aono and his flyin 86, and Danny George with the LS Powerful Miata weren’t there doing battle to name a few.
