Every year the first round of Formula Drift starts on the streets of Long Beach. Something about this town, this stretch of streets and turns that make race cars go wild. Maybe it’s the echoes bouncing off the walls, the roars of the engines and screaming of the tires that make this place special. Whatever it is, I’m happy to be part of it going on 9 years now.
The Falken Team is Back, and Drifting seems to be very fast and competitive for 2017. Although there are several drivers that I thought I would see, there are a good amount of drifters for the first round. Here’s a quick sneak of Day 1, and if you missed out just come on down for Day 2 Saturday the Main event, and you’ll see why this place takes drifting to a whole new level. -Rommel Estrada #fdlb
