Perfect Storm – Global Time Attack RD1 Buttonwillow 2018

By |April 11th, 2018|

I mean you can call it whatever you want. Luck, amount of practice, horsepower changes, bumper, etc.. We can keep going on and on, on what it took to make a 2012 Honda Civic do a 01:37.308 at the infamous Buttonwillow Raceway Track #CW13. But we may never know, and for arguments sake it would be to much information to fill this story here, and probably go off of the chart in the wrong way. As always I want to keep it short with highlights and more photos for all of you to see. But yes it is true and it’s been 12 days since then that William Au-Yeung hailing from Canada who would make the trek down to Global Time Attack Round 1 and wow the World with what was unheard of, or not even close to being thought of years ago for a Front Wheel Drive Honda Civic to completely smash the Overall Lap Record at a Track that has been used to staple the fastest and baddest Time Attack Cars in North America.  […]

Import Face-Off Famoso 2018

By |March 9th, 2018|

Legendary in it’s own right, nothing is as exciting for me to start the racing season with some good ol Drag Racing. The import kind of Import Face-Off, that has been bringing back the Import Drag Racing a place to race, and a spot in the Motorsports World. Sure it’s not as big as the Imports vs. Domestics at the end of year or March Meet that falls after, but Cliff of IFO and the partners like Mike from the Foat, and Nick of Ososik have been making IFO a legendary series for some time now. With over 40 plus events a year around the USA, they have been giving racers a place to go down the quarter mile for the past 16 years and have succeeded as now the #1 Import Drag Racing Series in the US!  […]

King of the Hammers 2018 -Last Day, Race Day.

By |February 23rd, 2018|

Well the entire week is full of races really. King of The Hammers again has become an epic and memorable trip. This time I went with Antonio of Motor Mavens, V8 Builds, and 86 Fest to name a few. Since Saturday was the true last day, we wasted no time and headed into the desert of glory. The place to be when it’s this time of the year, the place to be part of when you love off-roading and the atmosphere that goes with it. King of the Hammers is ultimately the number one in my opinion the BEST Off-Roading Event by far.  […]

King of Hammers – Day One

By |February 6th, 2018|

As time passes, so does events. But there is one event, I have grown fond of in the last 4 years. Now on my 4th attendance and still blown away of all the cool stuff to watch, follow and be in awe of. It is the “King Of The Hammers” the ultimate desert race that I drive 3 hours out to and be part of. A special place of off road playground for miles and miles. […]

Take Me Back – Global Time Attack Super Lap Battle 2017

By |November 17th, 2017|

I wish it didn’t have to end. The Time Attack season comes to a close, as the Global Time Attack Super Lap Battle finishes off the year with a very memorable one. Days before this 2 day event at the ever popular Buttonwillow Raceway in the middle of nowhere. I had some personal matters that took me off path, a break-up, and more financial issues that brought me down bad, I almost didn’t have the heart to go, I ended up selling more of my camera equipment and car parts that I could buy again in the future. But I know I needed to be there, I had to move on and get taken back to what I love about this sport so much. So I grabbed my only camera left, an old trusted 5D MK2, with 2 lenses and headed out.  […]

Times Are Changing – World Time Attack Challenge 2017

By |November 6th, 2017|

My second time back at the World Time Attack Challenge held in Sydney Australia, was nothing short of amazing. As 2017 rolled out in the beginning of the year, the Time Attack events worldwide, including home base USA was already big. Knowing that cars were being built, changed, or just getting out there chasing records, it was surely a great year. Fast forward to my decision to leave for #wtac again was hard since many major events around the same date and the following weeks would take place. So the budget was only good for one event, and after evaluating the choices I jumped on the plane and headed down under to join the buzz again that makes the World Time Attack Challenge that Great.  […]
