Since we started the Track Hookers line. We’ve had many ideas for quality apparel, but there has been a long list of designs that we can’t wait to share. To start it off right, I’ve had a visualize image of a Time Attack 86 in my mind for the past 4 years that I’ve always wanted to build. I personally love the AE86 and I always said if I could render or draw I would be able to put it on paper. But since I can’t draw, I was lucky enough to find an Artist back in 2013 from across the earth named Khyzyl Saleem. I’m sure by now you’ve heard of him and seen his awesome renderings. If you haven’t just think Need 4 Speed and google his name. He’s a monster when it comes to creativity. So we connected and collaborated on making a series of T-Shirts using my photos from the past 5 years, and his artistry.
The beautiful rendering that Khyzyl finished was complete in 2013, and the Final Design in which you see here was just merely a High Res Jpeg he sent via email. I had what I wanted, but didn’t know what to do with it at the time, so it stayed dormant for almost 2 years till I decided to put it on a T-Shirt.
In a world where everything is similar, Khyzyl creates a world of his own, and designs from only what he can imagine. Creating one-off Cars beyond our own imaginations, he finds a connection with function and style. But not just your cookie cutter build, more like a Bespoke product that’s an expression of one’s imagination. Every rendering he creates puts a smile on your face, if you can understand his direction. What I see is that he builds the cars of insanity, the cars that would be the “what if’s” without the reality. A proposed dream if you will into a world you wish you where part of. It’s an honor to collaborate with an Artist that can deliver something unique, and we look forward to making more with “The Kyza”
