Building a team always requires more than picking people from the crowd. When I first started Motolyric I always had the intentions of building a network of like-minded, and goal driven individuals. Through the years, I’ve met, friend-ed and created some solid relationships with some people in both photography and Motorsports. But it’s always a major big plus, if they were passionate as I was in both. […]
Before 2017 started, we decided to really focus on promoting and working with past event holders that have helped us along the way. For the past 4 years we’ve been actively posting our photos from Import Face-Off exclusively on thefoat.com which not only showcases Motolyric’s photos, but many other photographers and media around the World.
If you are into Import Drag Racing, but find interests in other types of racing, check out thefoat.com for all types of content. But even better, let’s say you are interested in putting an event together for your meet, or a race at a track. How do you reach an audience? How do sell tickets? […]
What a perfect way to end a season. Although there are several other track events and days still left before the actual year ends. Global Time Attack’s Super Lap Battle is the finale for me. Through all the years from a spectator, to a visitor, then a photographer, and pretty soon a competitor. The Super Lap Battle 2-day event is the icing on the cake for a lot of drivers and teams. Including myself, and I can go on and on, on how great this event is. But I don’t want to bore you with that. Lol. Coming from all over the USA, including Canada, and sometimes from other countries, it is the Time Attack Championship Finals, this is Super Lap Battle! […]
In the world of Motorsports, drag racing still beats hard on a lot of gear heads across the globe. While some still believe that it takes no skill to pilot a car down a straight line, haven’t experienced it long enough to get to a level some can only dream about. But here at Motolyric, it don’t matter, and some of you can relate, that we all know that any racing is good for us. Although I haven’t Drag Raced a car since the local LACR closed down in 2007, I’m still a fan and follower since the Battle of the Import days, and I can say I will never get tired of it. I still enjoy that quick thrill watching 2 cars go at it from a dead stop. There is truly nothing like it in the world. […]
If you’re reading this, you’re probably at SEMA or WCF and I was suppose to go to both of those. But without getting you lost in other stories, I stayed behind to finish this feature, and gallery before the big Global Time Attack x Super Lap Battle coming on November 10-11th. As a huge enthusiast and supporter of Time Attack, I have always wanted to go to the “World Time Attack Challenge” in Australia. For years watching and reading up on the stories, the cars, drivers and the experience magnified me to make it happen. Well, I finally did it in 2016, and it was a tough decision since I also wanted to do those other events I mentioned, and some major ones, like the Formula 1 USGP Race, or the Tokyo Auto Salon in 2017. But being on a budget and trying to do some of these events can be hard, and since Time Attack has taken my heart for the longest, I knew I had to go to WTAC at least once. First and foremost the Australian people along with the New Zealanders I met and made friends with during this trip are some of the coolest people I have ever met. Truly friendly and talked about cars and racing during breaks was never ending. […]
